Point taken.

The point of this thread was to apologise for any offence caused and to set out that the book will remain unavailable until I have resolved the matter around the templates, hopefully to the forums satisfaction. My plan was then to release it as a free book with advertising.

I will also admit quite openly that my first post may have been a bit aggressive and I can only apologise for that (I was a tad annoyed that in a Twitter conversation I was being told one thing only for an email to go around saying the opposite).

At the end of the day we are on the same team and I may have dropped the ball when it comes to courtesy on this one, but my intention was not to rip anyone off (if it had been I would've spent far less time on it) nor was it to upset or offend anyone.

(As a quick side note, a lot of posts seem to have disappeared from this thread, any ideas why?)

I take it that your business plan to set up a ticket appeals service hasn't gone that well then ?

I am not keen to knock anybody who genuinely helps motorists avoid PPC charges - whether by book or parking service - although I would worry about the latter as the potential downside could be costly.

Obviously people can be miffed if they think a publication is a rehash of other people's efforts or if there are inaccuracies in it, but if that gets sorted out, then having another reference source available to the public can't be a bad thing.

One thing is sure about the book or parking ticket service- no one is doing it primarily to make a fortune.

I have reported da_rule due to breach of MSE terms, you have stolen information from posters and then advertised your book on MSE for profit. I have also advised that they block all IP addresses you have used to access the site so you can no longer view and steal information from genuine posters and try and profit from it. I have also suggested MSE peruse legal action for stealing information.

I have posted tons of free information about the services my company offers (nothing to do with parking fines) from an insiders perspective to try and help people and not once have I mentioned my company name or tried to profit from it. I would be horrified if somebody stole information I gave away for free to genuinely help people.

Do you want to quote any other posts? Maybe all the advice about saving £1000s in construction costs which no body else on MSE seems to know much about? Or do you just cherry pick information to support you agenda? thought so!

No, I quote relevant posts and as this is a Parking forum, then your comments about parking are the important ones here.

I wouldn't want to challenge any of your posts on other subjects such as construction where you may know your subject matter, but your posts on this forum are less informed and not helpful.

I am sure that if I had construction queries I would be pleased to receive your informed help and advice. But I haven't and, on this forum, I don't.
