No idea who this pro-tech security is though. They seem to be based in Leeds and do not appear to be accredited by either the IAS or BPA.

In the meantime, I may send some comms to the letting agent pointing out that my tenancy agreement doesn't detail any requirement to display a permit, nor does it appear to mention anything about parking. Perhaps they and the Landlord can intervene.
Yep - good idea as long as you are careful to word such complaints from your standpoint as the car's owner/keeper and always written in term that 'the car' was issued with the PCN you are objecting to (not stating that 'I received a PCN' or anything similar which may suggest who was driving).

Parking Collection Services are a trading name of the debt collector 'Debt Recovery Plus'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    In my original communication (14 May) to the email addy on the reverse of the PCN under Appeals (enquiries@parkingcsl.co.uk) this is what I wrote;

    "Dear JD / Parking CSL

A ticket was yesterday presumably affixed to my vehicular motionary carriage. Its number is ******.

Please forward me all photographic evidence that was taken at this location.

    Yours faithfully"

There's no admission of liability there or anything like that, is there?

Right, stupid question, when you say "vehicular motionary carriage" do you just mean a motor vehicle/car?

Yes - my apologies for that. I just have some sort of fixation with "vehicular motionary carriage". :D

Fair enough, I would just say vehicle, but what ever floats your boat.;)

I was just checking because I once heard someone refer to one of those disabled buggy things as something similar.

    my vehicular motionary carriage.

Perhaps I should've worded it as "the vehicular motionary carriage."?

'My' should be fine, it identifies it as belonging to you, doesn't mean you were the driver.

When someone purchases a property one would assume that that bit of land allocated for the property's parking space is theirs. The land allocated to my parking space is obviously not owned by me and one would have also assumed that it's owned by the Landlord.
With leasehold properties particularly, it can vary. With some, a designated parking space is part of the property (i.e. it is specified in the lease, and a plan would clearly show it). In such cases it's normally easy, even if the property is subsequently let out: tell them to f-off as they are trespassing. The management company must also be told to cease and desist in their actions to impose conditions contrary to the lease. [One needs to check the lease to ensure there's not some strange clause which allows them to.]

When parking is shared, then it's a lot less clear. While any PPC tickets are still unenforceable (as losses are still zero), they still need to be challenged in the correct way. Being belligerent, in a similar situation, I would just collect tickets and appeal each one, costing the PPC money every time.
