Stainless Steel Shower Caddy?

Hi.
I have been searching for a 2 or 3 tier corner shower caddy.

At lot of these rust after just a few months so I'm looking into getting a Stainless Steel or similar.

Does anyone have any recommendations or advise?

So far I have only really spotted this one:

I second the John Lewis option. I bought mine there four years ago (a corner, two tier job) and it is still rust free. I can't see the same one on their website today, but the £50 one looks similar

the good S/Steel ones are few and far between from my experience and are pricy at that but then you get what you pay for. Hence we got a plastic Betterware one !! :rotfl:No rust issues there :T:rotfl:

Have you ever seen a shiny shiny stainless steel. Even when polished the material is still dull/ flat

I've looked on the John Lewis site and can only see corner units that are free standing with legs.
The wall mounted corner ones look to be obsolete.
I've seen this one ok amazon which looks quite modern but you are right when you say they are expensive - £80 + del=

Fair point but chroming over it is therefore just for aesthetics ... in general the chroming used in these types of things is not really of any great quality/standard, hence the mild steel stuff rusts so quickly ... it is not in any way like the process used in industrial hard chrome plating...... So it is still porous and will still, over time, flake/corrode all-be-it not as quick as the mild steel which rusts also.....

After throwing a few away we bought one made by Simple human. Had it 3 years now and no sign of rust.

I have two of the Croydex ones which are held onto the wall (shower boards in my case) by suction pads. Have had them for about 6 years - they are still in perfect order. I think they are chrome plated mild steel - which is fine if the coating is done properly.

Rust usually occurs when there is water in high proximity, which is very true in the case of a bathroom. Try cleaning the rust after giving your bathroom a through clean. Depending upon which type of tile you use, there are different methods. However stainless steel shower caddy would be a good option. I bought my shower caddy from better living. They have a lot of options and designs.:)
