This morning while emptying the bin, my 15week sprocker puppy ate two sheets of kitchen roll......
Has anybody got advise what to do or will it just pass?
Happened about 30mins ago and he's been his normal self since
Thank you x

Poor lad!
He should be fine - was it the cheap stuff that turns to mush in water? Just keep an eye on him today, make sure he eats and drinks as normal and keep the cleaning stuff away from him!!0 -
Should be ok, just may not feel himself for a bit, until it passes through. Rusty swallowed a sock when young, it came out ok, but needed a little help to let it go.
He may just have a little 'Bounce' in his step for a few days, lol !0 -
Thanks - I rung the vets and they said pretty much the same thing.
He may have a bit tummy ache until it's out of his system, but if he's not him self just to take him down.
It was bounty! So not the cheapest but not industrial strength either!
Fingers crossed it's the only thing he gets he shouldn't!0 -
Make sure that he is still doing poos. If he stops his gut could be blocked and it's an emergency.0

Well he's done once since and it was normal, he does seem to have drunk more water today?
Also when do you think it should pass?
Dogs - there worse than kids!:shocked::shocked:0 -
My pup thought he was the andrex puppy many a time when he was younger, it passes through fine, he's also nabed sheets of bounty to no harm also just keep an eye on him0

My Boxador eats everything and anything, we've had 2 years now of being constantly amazed at what she finds edible and what comes out the other end. We used to panic but somehow she has a cast iron constitution and is always fine. Although I would love to know how she does it, even the vet was astounded at her ability to digest and process things that she shouldn't be able to. We've tried everything to stop her but short of taping up her massive mouth we just accept that she has some sort of self preservation and knows her limits...There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out.0

Aww he should be fine. I imagine he chewed it up well before swallowing. My dog got over his phase of eating stuff he shouldn't but once in the past I had to 'help' him by pulling a whole sock out of his bum that he couldn't pass by himself :O
I had no idea he'd eaten it, and he was quite uncomfortable trying to pass it, but he was fine once we got it out.0 -

This is the thing from when he pinched it to him eating it was a matter of seconds and I heard him gulp it down! It had been used to mop up roast chicken juice so it will have tasted yummy to him!
We have had 3 more poo's since and all have been normal and normal schedule too!! He's is fine in him self and has been running. Around as normal!
Any ideas when he should pass them?

My dog once ate a whole balloon - one of those massive ones with a long thick elastic on the end, that the kids bash up and down on their wrists.
I rang the vet and he said I should make the dog vomit immediately.
He said to put a full teaspoon of salt at the back of the dog's tongue and make him swallow it by holding his mouth closed and stroking under his lower jaw.
The poor dog was astonished then rushed into the garden to chuck up.
It did the job - the balloon reappeared.
Worth remembering if the dog eats anything he shouldn't.
With the kitchen roll the OP's dog ate though...it should just mush up inside him and pass out normally. You may not even see them in the dog's poo but if he has had the three normal poos by now I'd expect most of it has already gone through him.0
