Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and I'm hoping you can help me.
I placed an order online with a company for an item priced at £135 on the evening of the 16 May. I received an email on the 17 May advising that the item was out of stock however they hope to have more in on the 20 May, I agreed to wait and see if more arrived.
I rang the company on the 22nd as I hadn't heard from them to enquire if they had the item I ordered in, at the time they didn't know, however had been due to find out by 7pm that evening.
I received the item today in the post with an invoice and processing of payment dated as 22 May.
My concern is that between my order being placed and them processing once back in stock the price dropped by £10 to £125, can I claim back the £10?
Many thanks to all for any help, advice etc

You have no right - the contact was accepted by both of you for £135. However, ask them - you never know!Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
I can only agree with Esqui,
Why not just send it back under DSR (you would probably have to pay the postage though) and then re order.....make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
No chance at all. You agreed to pay 135 when placing the order and they agreed to provide you the item at that price.
They sound a bit "Scatty" (couldn't think of a better word haha) so there is a slim possibility that you could get 10 back if you ask...0 -
The contact was agreed? Do you actually mean CONTRACT? Totally different words and meanings?0

I always understood "cant" to be the kind of talking but not saying much that politicians do.
And of course Brian.0
