Yep, I guess if you are buying stuff in there anyway then its great but I couldnt find anything cost effective to buy, I rarely buy clothes let alone at full price, so thought I might aswell stock up on underware, i'm a 36D and they had 1 bra!! I did get a 34 one aswell though. I somehow think i'm not the client base that shop is after. Their underware is nice just a shame they didnt have my size in everything.0 -
Me and DH were just discussing that. You can definately hear him coming
He never seems to wear anything but loud shirts, must be a very sweaty man

I've always enjoyed the Canadian Grand Prix.
Something about the track, long straights, harsh braking, good opportunities for overtaking and the evening starts.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

I'VE BEEN BANNED FROM TESCO Yesterday I was at my local Tesco store buying a large bag of My Dog dog food for my loyal pet and was in the checkout queue when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. What did she think I had an elephant? So, since I'm retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Dog Diet again. I added that I probably shouldn’t, because I ended up in hospital last time, but I'd lost 10 kilograms before I woke up in intensive care with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pockets with My Dog nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in queue was now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked me if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off the kerb to sniff an Irish Setter's !!!! and a car hit me. I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard. I'm now banned from Tesco. Better watch what you ask retired people. They have all the time in the world to think of daft things to say.:D:D:D:D:D
Its difficult to follow two threads but this made up for the extra effort. I laughed out loud just as well I am home alone0 -

I don't think I would do the 24 one as I would be frightened of my legs seizing up driving between the mountains. I think I would be too frightened to climb one in the dark as well.
Ah I see .. Well done:)
My oh and son did it over three days for the same reason as you for not wanting to do it in 24 hrs plus they were doing it alone but my son Now wants to do it again but in 24 hrs but in an organised group thing and was going to ask you for advice
If anyone else has done it or has some advice could you let me know thanksOne cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.0 -

Would everyone be in agreement with redfox closing this thread if we asked her so we can all be together in one place.

I do like this one but not a fan of the late start especially when I have work
I'll have to either record it and ban anyone from teling me the result OR time my break so it falls over Q3 and I can watch it on my phone on iplayer
I'm currently going with the second optionHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55
