Perhaps just wanting people to intermingle and move back and forth and back and forth...0 -

I couldn't agree more Fairclaire. I know I'm a relative newcomer so perhaps it's not really my place to comment but I'm going to anyway!
I do find all the discussion about who will start the new thread incredibly tedious and, at the risk of offending some people, very clique and rather immature (in complete contrast to the usually very welcoming, inclusive and friendly chat among the Elite and all the great posts made about glitches and money saving combined with lots of support and jolly banter). The 'contest' for who will start the next thread (often starting when there's still 1000+ posts to be made on the old one) seems to become a rather horrid popularity contest and is very divisive, especially when I suspect that at least one AE is involved.fairclaire wrote: »There's a very small group of people (who rarely post here) that make it their mission to engineer who starts threads........fairclaire wrote: »in other news, my cat died. I'm really sorry to hear that Fairclaire. Losing a much loved pet is so sad. Hugs to you and your family.“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”

Oh...:(
I thought that would be the case (that your cat had died). The same thing happened before our cat (when we had one decades ago) died. I refrained from posting this before as didn't want to compound anything.
Sorry to hear about the cat but, as you say, RL goes on...:):kisses3:0 -
