Perhaps just wanting people to intermingle and move back and forth and back and forth...

Then we have the 'who is starting the new thread' debate.......who cares? Why does it have to be such a dilemma? We're all here, aren't we?

I couldn't agree more Fairclaire. I know I'm a relative newcomer so perhaps it's not really my place to comment but I'm going to anyway!

I do find all the discussion about who will start the new thread incredibly tedious and, at the risk of offending some people, very clique and rather immature (in complete contrast to the usually very welcoming, inclusive and friendly chat among the Elite and all the great posts made about glitches and money saving combined with lots of support and jolly banter). The 'contest' for who will start the next thread (often starting when there's still 1000+ posts to be made on the old one) seems to become a rather horrid popularity contest and is very divisive, especially when I suspect that at least one AE is involved.

There's a very small group of people (who rarely post here) that make it their mission to engineer who starts threads........
That's annoying but I guess the people who do that need to be pitied as they must lead incredibly unfulfilled lives if they can only feel good about themselves by attaching 'honour' to starting a thread and then manipulating who receives said 'honour'.

in other news, my cat died. It's saddened me a lot but I didn't want sympathy because I would have cried.....a lot! :( and Real life goes on :)

I'm really sorry to hear that Fairclaire. Losing a much loved pet is so sad. Hugs to you and your family.

    Oh...:(
I thought that would be the case (that your cat had died). The same thing happened before our cat (when we had one decades ago) died. I refrained from posting this before as didn't want to compound anything.

Sorry to hear about the cat but, as you say, RL goes on...:):kisses3:

You can only use these online.. I don't know if you can buy any vouchers at highstreetvouchers.com and then use them at the post office :)
