    Thank you.

On MSL they are 2 for £2 so at best would be pay £1.50 and it sees £2 but £4 for 2 elsewhere?

Phew made it home safe & sound :) DD is fed & back at her mums, OH is showing signs of tiredness (13 weeks til the due date & she's only now starting to flake) & I'm tired & angry!!! Ended buying a stack of nappies on a C&C, they substituted 2 packs for cheaper packs in the wrong size & didn't pay the difference back so after a frustrating chat with a rather slow SA he took the 2 packs back & put through the refund.I tried explained it wasn't good enough because I would've been £3 out of pocket & it went straight over his head so after 20 minutes I gave up & took what I had! Got home & phones the number on the invoice & explained what had happened & the CS apologised & said he would send a £3 evoucher back, thanks to all you guys I knew about the DTD but unfortunately the CS didn't so I got through to yet another CS who apologised & sent out a £6 evoucher & despite near enough begging to get a goodwill added I only walked away with the DTD but the instore online manager is phoning me tomorrow. So question:

Can I milk a voucher out of my phonecall tomorrow?
what dtd are you on about please? I was not aware you could get it for on line orders.

I am watching on sky for Gary Neville's co-commentary but flicking between channels in the intervals to see what Roy Keane has to say :)

    Good Evening :)

The rain ceased and I got out shopping after all.
Found in Ts Garland Crest Shiraz wine RTC £3.49. There was also a first cape Limited release Rose wine for £3.49. I didn't buy that as no one would drink it. Quite a few other wines RTC but none cheap enough to actually buy.
Also found Taylor's fair trade ground coffee RTC at £1.94

Nothing else of any interest to report. Went to As as well. Empty shelf where the £4 loo rolls had been :( No lamb chops :( So just did a shop with bacon and apples

I wonder if some of the English folk could help with a question?

We're going to visit family near London in July and kids want to go to a theme park. They've been to Alton towers before and loved it. Would Thorpe park or Chessington be similar to Alton Towers? Looks like both would cost around £100 for 4. DH and I aren't keen on going on the rides but I presume we'd still have to pay full entry price.

I've looked at the Merlin pass but don't think we'd have the time to get our money's worth.

Also hoping it'll be quieter at the start of July before the English schools are off???

My kids loved both. Only tip I can give is get there for opening and go on most popular rides before the coach parties get there.
Think nerfdad is the Park expert.

    Evening all

Just caught an excellant set by Calvin Harris on the bbc big weekend. Not so empressed by Example though.

Very sad today as got the news my cousins 11 year old daughter died of a brain tumour on thursday. As far as I understand it there was no warning signs she was fit and healthy. Such a pretty happy child.:(
Absolutely heartbreaking, she leaves a twin sister.

Counting my blessing tonight but grieving at the same time.

    Spent day quietly.
