:p Gift bags are actually something I have run out of and I usually recycle them.

Obviously not been given enough presents lately. :rotfl:

I did buy RTC xmas wrap suitable for birthdays and even that is running low, you see I do give generously. :rotfl: Not a thief at all. ;)

Oh and Dotty I didn't buy all those balloons I listed.

Only the ones that would come in useful in the future. :o

Speaking of dishwasher, sorry again Northern Ireland as Morries comparison is not available to you, I should have mentioned earlier - for those who did not get all the Dishwasher Cleaner on 3 for £2:D when that glitched (intending to be £3.00 3 for 2) earlier in the year - Finish Rinse Aid Regular 400ml is £1.75 in M (A £2.50 vs M £1.75?) and Finish Dishwasher Cleaner Regular Only (250ml) is also, I hope, £2.50 vs £1.75. Neither show on msm.co.uk for M, and :rotfl: as usual no guarantees on comparisons! They would ordinarily have been straight onto the M list (they've been £1.75 for a number of weeks already), but given that those glitches had happened several months ago...

No good as not a glitch price but if those who weren't here on the Elite threads back when, and are desperately in need of dishwasher stuff... (Finish Lemon/Lime
freshener is still £1.09 in M, as showing on msm.co.uk, but... why the hell would someone need that?) (T also have a different version, Mandarin, not stocked elsewhere, on which they have just 'sneakily' put the price up on - so watch out for any nice DTD on that if available.)

Meanwhile, I know some people get these - Lenor Tumble Drier Sheets (34) are £2.00 instore in M (I can confirm that I have seen them at that price there). Msm.co.uk (don't rely on it!) says A £3.10 and M £2.00. I'm not going for the Persil washing powder at £6 in M though, especially as it appears to be 45 washes now rather than 50:(. So do avoid that IMO if you are in there. And also ignore the Shredded Wheats in my view, as I've been doing for several weeks*. You may want to bear in mind that my price trigger on the 16 pack, for example, is £1.00. So £1.50 does not pass muster in any way at all; it's very expensive according to that. The 30 pack is hardly any better - IMO avoid!:)

I saw the Cadbury's Triple Choc returning vs N/A:( - I was right to think this would be a great risk and I've had difficulty getting Cadbury's Chocolate Rolls compared to before on the APG.

*or, at least, acting as if I was ignoring them!:D

Actually realised you can see part of my hoard in that last photo. :o

The singles from my Dad's record collection in the yellow plastic basket, I have not sorted through them yet. And the handbag you can just see was my Mum's, still has few bits in. :o

Didn't realise they were in the picture.

Oooh, i feel all warm and glowing inside knowing how happy mum will be.. I was debating about asking sis if she wanted to come, and I book it all for her to join us too.. She is always mega busy with work and so i thought she would look forward to it - and we would have girl time together...

What a wonderful surprise. Your mum will be thrilled I'm sure. Iceland is wonderful.

I love organising surprises for my nearest and dearest too. DH's face was a picture when I woke him up at 5am on our 1st wedding anniversary and asked him if he'd mind getting up early as I fancied going to a fancy French restaurant for lunch. Good job he said yes because I'd already booked us a day trip to France! :)

Re your Iceland surprise, I'd be tempted to wrap up a pair of long Johns for your mum to open. When she's looking a bit puzzled you could say something like, "I thought you'd need them when we go to Iceland next week" (or whenever) :)

Alternatively, if you can afford it, you could wrap a series of presents in layers, eg hat, gloves, thermal vest, long johns, ending in a final layer of a guidebook to Iceland with 'golden' tickets tucked inside :)

The Icelandic tourist office have some great free maps and guides when you get there. It might be worth emailing them to see if they will send you some in advance.
