Seriously folks there are free options out there to keep you safer online (nothing is 100% as these anti virus software can only spot it once they know what to look for).
    No excuses

and the best time to do it NOW

Lets take fc hubby as an example £900 taken in a few days that they will get back sometime after a few phone calls. But imagine if you only had £900 in your bank account and your mortgage/ rent/gas/elec/etc was all due to come out by DD
A lot more of a problem now ;)

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Thanks, I've just read that. I'm not a "clicker" I only do what I need to but I know our security has run out:( didn't renew as didn't want to pay another £50+. I know there are free ones but I wouldn't know which were any good. It's like reading Chinese...

Husband has downloaded AVAST security on to our devices. Apparently that works. He is Software engineer so I presume knows these things

    Hth

    And its free :)

Not sure why they have 2 products Internet security and Anti virus
but apart from that £20 is cheaper than £50,

    1) Have a look at your online banking first they may give you free protection like I said Barclays does :T

    2) Install a free one and look for cheaper deal :money:

    Flying visit.......

    BIG WARNING

Reminder to folks NOT to click on any messages that pop up on FB (or anywhere else) that claim to be updating your security details.

My idiot of a Husband did this over the weekend :mad::mad::mad::mad: and has just told me that his bank account is being emptied, to the tune of £900 odd so far  :(:(:(.

He's in bits about it. Ive emptied all the money out of his accounts into mine, and I've been on with the bank to get all his cards stopped and accounts frozen. Ive just got to start on the process of getting the money back through the banks fraud dept.

    PLEASE PLEASE BE CARFUL EVERYONE!

    PLONKER

GULP!!! Just shows how easily it can be done. Hope you get it all sorted asap. Fingers crossed you get the money back.
