    I recently did a test-out on M7S giftcards:

    * It works topping up a normal giftcard (I topped up a card I received as a gift at Christmas).

    * When it asks for the giftcard number, it only needs the big numbers, eg 999 999 999 999 (16 digits). It doesn't need the really small numbers at the start and end.

    * It took 2 days for the money to arrive on the giftcard. (You can check your balance on M&S.com > My Account > Check Gift Card Balance)

    * You can pay with 3V cards. If you pay by a normal credit card, charges apply! However, no fee for using 3V since it's classed as a debit card.

However, if you can't be bothered with all this, I was explaining yesterday that you can make purchases from M7S website directly using 3V cards.

PS. Another outlet for 3V Vouchers: Home Bargains !! Order from their website Click & Collect from any local store.

Woah, that's a new one on me & given the fact we have a very select list of shops we buy from could potentially extend our ever decreasing financials! Great tip :)

Thanks for that, I see they do have a small selection on there, didn't know that, so cheers!

Also hot and spicy wings show on msm as 2 for 4.00. If this compares they might be good for someone.

The thread is quiet just now so I thought I'd share this with you.

I offered to bake my nieces wedding cake having never even baked a birthday cake before. However for the last 18 months, I've made every family birthday and Christmas cake as practice. And here's the wedding cake......

Thanks for the message TS:A I saw the wine but unfortunately I don't need red :( I don't drink it and the amount OH drinks is negligible, probably about 6 bottles a year. I think he uses more to cook with than he'd ever drink!

I must be further down the list, as still waiting for my message about the red wine...Or perhaps she was just far too busy buying it all before David. and I got a chance to order any :D

    Good evening everyone :)

Barley Sugar, a stunning cake, and well done for taking on, and exceding the challenge from non baker, to superb baker!

Streetlights, excellent achievement, well done, and hope you enjoyed doing it too!

Could have waved to you if I'd known!

So the interesting travelling to/from work at the moment was yesterday, several horse drawn caravans to overtake, a set of 5 gigs to overtake (why did they all travel together?)

Today, numerous horse drawn vehicles both on the road and on the roadside. Tourists returning home from the Lakes, all slowing to look at, and marvel at, the aforesaid horse drawn vehicles.

What's worse than a car with 2 adults in it? A car with 4 adults in it, lost count of the times I saw numerous face profiles, whilst they continued to do 30mph in a 60mph limit.

Following a soft top car, older couple in it, doing much the same as the 4 adults, viewing the countryside (driver included), didn't know how to drive, brakes at curves, and if he got a foot closer to the car in front cos he kept looking at the countryside and not concentrating on the slower vehicle in front. itching for the whole lengthy queue of slow traffic to come to a stop, so that I could advise him that he really should learn how to use the limit point of view, and to concnetrate on the road, rather than his wife/partner/countryside.

Roll on winter fog/snow/ice/floods, and 20 minutes knocked off my journey time to/from work, every day.

Is there any wonder I really detest tourists!

You have the Tour de France to contend with yet midwinter:eek:

    Evening :j

I found a little glitch!! Probably nobody will remember but last week I tested a glitch on 3 for 5.00 cooked meats. I thought chicken tikka slices wouldn't show but they did.

Today I tested the chicken tikka CHUNKS. They are a trigger :D and don't show on APG. If one of these is bought with 2 BBQ chunks vs Ts, it should give 1.66 back on APG on a 5.00 spend. So...not earth shattering but for me it's a welcome change from carver ham butties.

    Hooray, I'm so pleased.
    ...

BBQ chunks 120g at A's, 100g at T's, outside of the 10% comparable weight range. Don't think these will compare sparklyfee :(
