    Aw shucks :o - thank you. That's especially lovely coming from you Fairclaire. I must admit, it hasn't always been easy but when I look at how kind and helpful our 3 children are now they've grown up I do feel I must have got at least some bits right of the often torturous process they call parenthood!

    I'm in awe of you taking another teenager into your family Fairclaire, especially given all the other things you have to cope with. Is there any chance that you could get recognised as his foster carers, (there is a special category for private arrangements between friends or relatives known as 'kinship foster carers) which might enable you to claim some allowances and get support if you need it?
