so how did we get the 1p Jaffa cake comparison? especially as it would be more than 20% difference in price at some point from a week before

That's an instore thing, would have been unlikely to arise from online method. So - thank goodness they are doing instore collections, hurrah!:):)

Edit: I see your point about the 20% difference now. Same I suppose as the JF not being scanned at all or returning N/A despite supposedly being scanned three times. They scan the wrong item three times, maybe. They get the same result!:D

Perhaps the JCs - I can only speculate as no-one knows (and no-one called for any investigation into the matter!:D). Maybe they scanned them, inputted one penny incorrectly but thought they had scanned them correctly at £1.00 the three times so did not flag it up as needing '20% difference in price' approval? Can these beggars count 20% difference in price?:rotfl:

    Glitch vs Morries!!
Let's hope this is Wednesday data and not the brief Tuesday data not yet updated to Wednesday.

Satsumas are comparing vs M at 80p, despite M's being outside of the weight.

I had a laugh on those Sugar Puffs when I saw them on the receipt - as possibly the worst purchase of the week!! They bought the 425g ones at £2.80:eek::rotfl::rotfl:, as opposed to even the 320g ones at £1 (rip-off itself, but £2.80 ones even more so - more than three times as much as my 20p/100g!). Or even opposed to the bigger 625g (rather than 425g:rotfl:) ones in T at £1.62 slight rip-off these days. I'm glad they bought the 425g ones as the 320g ones are £1.00 vs £2+ in T! Would have wiped out all the 19p:(:(. Frowning at the 19p not the otherwise wipe-out!

Anyway, forget that, back to the Satsumas... this womble is yesterday evening (29/5/14).

There is an M mbuy appearing on both of these on the M comp. if this helps any (not that it does on these prices):

A mbuy on both, M mbuy on both. Another womble, 20.25 on 29/5/14.

Hello again! Well hello Savvybuyer, only one whose been on the thread.

Well yes I did manage to get the Smirnoff to compare vs Morries at £13 on one of my 'quarantined' wombles, but no use due to what else they bought - namely the Pepsi a day too early:(:(:(, the Sweetcorn that's twice the expense at M:( and the flippin' grapes!!:mad::(:rotfl:

Instead it gives the voucher opportunity for 14p:( vs !!!!!!. I'm not having it! Btw the Pepsi Regular (2L) does now pick up M's price of 99p each, as I, very gingerly, entered another receipt just before this, a shop that was done a little later in the week, and got the favourable comparison on that. (The one I thought might go 'least wrong' vs Morries on the other items should the M comp. prove to be relevant:D. Such as the way we have to operate:rotfl:.) So... I might go and enter my other receipts that have Pepsi 2L on them now.

    Why £0.14?

Oh,... what a surprise!! This womble is almost an Elite shop:T:T:D:j:j. I was expecting Sains. to come out cheapest, but a few items were dearer there. It did a bit better than the £1.48 I was expecting. Morries did come out as the cheapest overall, but only because of a lot of non-comparable stuff, we're told, vs M on there. The only items comparing vs M were the Robinsons and the Tena - both at the same price as T shows here. I thought the voucher was against Morries, but in fact the eventual shop turned out to be best vs T due to the 10%. Beware as this shop is one of my quarantined ones and was done on 27/5/14 - I wasn't expecting the Robinsons to compare vs T as not showing £1.99 on msm. But the Robinsons, which has gone on offer this week it seems in M, has compared vs M at £1.99 under whichever price collection this is using...

I wouldn't go vs T on the Robinsons (if you manage to find a trigger), I'd now target vs S or vs Morries (famous last words). My muggle bought just the one Robinsons - nice and expensive and good price difference:T.

Edit: 4.55am: I now notice that the comp. says "Robinsons Double Concentrate Orange No Added Sugar..." and has T at £1.99 but msm.co.uk says "Robinsons Double Concentrate Orange Squah I]sic[/I No Added Sugar..." with individual price for T of £3.99 (and any 2 for £6.00). So, who knows?, maybe two very subtle, different ones on the system!:D The one they bought is B/C ending ...211413 (and missing digit). The devil may (or may not) be in this detail - a single word (or at least an attempt at a word:rotfl:) difference.

Well the Pepsi (regular) 2L might be comparing vs M at 99p (is comparing vs M at that), but the Pepsi Max...

The difference between an 80-odd p voucher vs Sains. and a £2.65 one vs M on that shop. Thwarted again!

Shouldda flippin' waited till the weekend on that one (the shop was done yesterday evening) to pick up the Wednesday collection rather than the Tuesday one I suspect.:( Maybe their Morries had still got the old £1.98 SEL on the Pepsi Max. - they're boogers these Morries employees as well as the agency collector employees too.

Alright, I've had my obsessive 11 (posts) in a row:rotfl::eek:. Satsuma bit of a glitch vs Morries somewhere (1.17am), if you manage to catch the right price collection. And an apparent single-word discrepancy now noted in my post of 4.10am.

    Oh... good morning everyone!!:D:):j
