My hubby actually worked for British Rail back then so we got free travel :T:T there apart from the little boat that took us across to Sark. The pub was the friendliest that I've ever been in & the landlords' daughter also ran a B & B and we ended up staying an extra week with her. It was a very simple holiday but I have great memories & would love to return there one day.

Did you watch the show that use to be on BBC2 an Island Parish, so lovely and peaceful.

Having a tidy out this weekend. I'm sure I've said before its usually hard to declutter :(
Bags full of clothes, old car seat and travel cot, all going to the tip for recycling/using/selling.
I know they'll all go to good homes and have been gathering dust for a few years here but it still pains me to get rid of stuff I could 'one day car boot' despite knowing the chances of actually getting to do a car boot are small :o
I need to stop clinging on to things :o this would be so much easier if I could :o

Would it not be worth renting a car or van for the day to shift some? Maybe a car booty could also cover the rental cost?

Carver ham, bacon and bapples all worked for me tonight v T. :)

Word of encouragement re: finding bapples as well - my store didn't have them last week at all but today they suddenly started stocking them, so worth a look! :j

If anyone has Cravendale free milk MOCs, they're a good filler as £1.15 in A v £1 in T :money:
