We chose Sark because in those days British Rail owned the ferries and we could get half price travel on our student rail cards - early onset MSE!

My hubby actually worked for British Rail back then so we got free travel :T:T there apart from the little boat that took us across to Sark. The pub was the friendliest that I've ever been in & the landlords' daughter also ran a B & B and we ended up staying an extra week with her. It was a very simple holiday but I have great memories & would love to return there one day.
