    Well my dream was always to be a stay at home dad but we gave up hope after a while, then my ex got back in touch apologising & let me see my daughter again, then 3 months later I was suspended form work due to a side effect of my health problems & on the 23rd of December I got told they could no longer employ me so lost my job then 3 weeks later we found out the OH was pregnant & she had conceived about 2 days after I got suspended. Interestingly enough on the day I was suspended I came home to find someone had sent me a bible, I kid you not! It had my name, address & it was posted from some random called Margaret in America!!! I've asked everyone if they had ordered me one as a joke, I'm not an overly religious person but nobody took credit & we still don't know who ordered it, who sent it or the mystery of it being delivered on the day I was suspended & 2 days before my OH got pregnant

    :eek::eek::eek:

    The bible is a little spooky, a gift from god, you may have to give your baby a biblical name!

    Similar, I like the idea of an up and over, he likes the idea of a roller one!

    on your garage? Now that is posh!

    On the driveway :), I love them but also hate them at the same time, they are so slow and work on a sensor and some people are to impatient so drive in when they are half open and so they stop and then the people try to nudge them open with their giant 4x4 totally useless vehicles :mad:

    ooh I would love some of these, but there is a wooden gate that will not be replaced until it falls down

    Ours is on a wooden gate, you buy the kit that attaches to the gate and then you have a button on either side and sensor points and we all have key fobs with buttons on on our car keys.

    So it could be fitted to the existing gate? Very interesting. I think I have a battle with the garage doors first

    You've got me looking at Iceland now :)

    It's fabulous - I'm ever hopeful we can go back one day. We went in March just because we had always wanted to see the Northern Lights and after dh's health problems we decided to push the boat out and do something on our bucket list. However, I was totally unprepared for the extraordinary beauty and the wonderful people. Prior to going I'd never have considered going there for a summer holiday but I think it would be spectacular. It's much bigger than I'd realised and there's so much to see and do there.
