And do I invite their children to my little girl's future parties?

No, I wouldn't ...especially if the parents attend! Just send cards - don't get into a tizz about it, life's far too short to worry about people who behave like this.

It never hurts to send a card and be the bigger person and show you are still thinking about the child.

Gifts would definitely be out though, not because of a tit for tat situation but because they obviously arent appreciated.

At gatherings, just be as polite as you normally would.

You're hurt FOR your little girl. She couldn't care less I imagine. This isn't a big deal. It's not like one of her parents have abandoned her etc and she'll be missing out on a lot of things. Some random relative didn't invite her to a party.

Life is far too short to worry about stupid little things like this.

My cousin had a baby about four years back. I doted on him. She had a very low income at the time and I bought him everything from clothes to prams. Anything he needed he got. For three years. Despite me literally paying for her child and minding him 5 days a week she couldn't be bothered to buy me a birthday card (I didn't want a gift. Just a card), one made by the baby even but she couldn't be bothered to fold a bit of paper in half and get the baby to scribble on it.

So I stopped bothering. Simple. I didn't get in a tizz about it. Didn't feel angry. Just stopped bothering. You should do the same.
