it makes me mad when I read of Boots inconsistency with its prices. I also bought the FCUK pod pallets today, but mine were 50p and bogof! This was in Speke, Liverpool. Loads of overpriced sale stuff getting put out.... looked like leftovers from the christmas sale!
    Sadly, no reduced cameras left.
  • do boots give out voucher numbers etc like tescos etc is there a voucher/code thread too, i do search but get so distracted by the offers on different pages lol..
    :rotfl:
  • Also I saw some Karmatherapy gift sets for £2.50 but be careful as some of the creams have gone off I discoverd this when I smelt one in the Piccadilly store yuk!!

P.S the Ruby and Millie mascara brush doesn't give you 500 extra points I'm taking it back after work.

    CrepeSuzette xx

Yes, I had exactly the same with the Karmatherapy handbag size calming spray, it smelt of wee! Good job it was only 50p.
  • Aplolgies if this had already been posted.

I popped into my local boots today, and they had some summer clearance items, most of it was rubbish, but lurking at the back of the stand was a boots essentials bag, which is a toilet bag with a lipsticks pattern on the front, it has inside 1 x Advanced Hydration Day cream x 15ml, 1 x No7 Total Renewal Micro-Dermabrasion Exfoliator 25ml, 1 x Protect and Perfect Beauty Serum x 5ml, 1 x No7 Lift & Curve Mascara Black 4.5ml, 1 x No7 Moisture Drench Lipstick Sugar Plum x 3.5gm, 1 x No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour Milan (a sparkly light purple) 4ml and 1 x No7 Amazing Eyes Pencil Brown. It was reduced to 2 pounds, I had picked up 2 to put away for xmas, when I got to the checkout the lady told me they were buy 2 get 1 free. So I got 3 for 4 pounds. Not sure if all boots sells the same, but these are nice, and a bargain.
  • Liverbird - I was in Speke this afternoon, and wondered if there was a Bootser in store - I saw a lady with a basket full of sale stuff and a Max factor bag was that you :)

Speke is MUCH better than central Liverpool for sale stuff.

Does anyone know if Boots sell gift experience vouchers instore or just online?

My Boots does (Oxford City Centre) - they are upstairs tucked away behind the till opposite the photo-processing area. They also do adopt-something-fluffy packs too. I don't know if they are restricted to larger stores and they definitly tend to get more in round Christmas. I had a look yesterday and they had a photography one, a "petrolheads" one, one for ferrari driving, one for flying, one for a variety of different activities for two people, one for pampering and one for teenagers. They are the activity superstore ones. Be really careful with the dates though - some of them expire by 1st Dec 2007, others by the 1st June 2008 - you can extend the vouchers subject to the locations discretion but it'll cost you extra (I had to do this with one last week because OH had forgotten about it - cost around £15 to extend).

The nail file that came with the pack reminds me of the nail files my mum used to have years ago... thank goodness for Jemma Kidd!!!
