Went in to Boots on Fleet Street today to check out the Summer Sale "BArgains" - a lot of stuff was half the summer sale price in the post-Christmas sale! So not really bargains!

Can anyone tell me if the online sale at 50% off will go to a 75% off like it did at christmas? The few bits I want to order went out of stock in the last sale when they were 75% off and are now back in stick now it is only 50% off

I know my fingers won't let me order things at 50% off when I have bought them previously at 75%.

OMG the mats and the chocolate arrived this morning and the chocolate is truly the most nasty revolting brown substance on earth. Even OH wouldn't eat it! Erghh.... haven't been able to face even real chocolate all day so I guess its working as a diet item!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Glad you enjoyed Oxford freebird! and well done with your haul! I checked for cameras early this morning too, but no joy either. A bit cheeky not to put them out at all. Takes all the sport out of it! I was hoping to buy one for little sis (she has a (real - not boots!) baby on the way) and it would have made a nice gift. Ah well.... I keep looking at the toys though, then have to remind myself that a) it isn't born yet b) it won't be interesting for at least another year c) if I buy the lovely wooden bricks they will halve in price in the sale a day later

I did have a look at the gift experiences (by the tills upstairs in Oxford) and they can be got with points. Do be really really careful though as some of them (not all) have short dates - i.e. they have to be used by the 1st Dec 2007, so not a thing to buy now and put aside for christmas. Quite fancied sending my Dad on a microlight flight - but he'd only scream like a girl. :rotfl:

Well, I went to my local Boots, and the summer sale was...well...dire!
There were only a couple of aisles, and they hadn't even reduced what there was by much (eg £15 down to £12)...
I spotted a Babyliss shaver on offer for £5 so I grabbed that though! :j

I did a spot of Bootsing today.

I still haven't had my replacement advantage card through yet since they took it off me last time I used it, so I tried out my brand new alias one :P Stuck it in 3 different ACMs and not one single voucher, only 2 competitions :( Gutted!

Luckily I'd taken my usual pile of vouchers with me (my new second account got it's health club and parenting vouchers through the post in like 2 weeks, I've been waiting 2 months and still nothing on my main account...).

So anyway, I did two small shops. In total I came away with:

2 x Boots single use cameras
    ROC face wipes
    ROC face wash
    2 x ROC GWP set
    2 x Tooth whitening gel
    Boots mag

Spent a total of £7.24 and earnt 68 points.

Disappointing to have not had any extra points coupons, and I was hoping to get a Bodyform voucher and EA voucher after reading about them on here.

Looked everywhere for the sale stuff, finally found it, wasn't even worth getting out of bed for! Pretty disappointing for such a big store. Anyone know whether the Meadowhall sale is any more inspiring? Really hoping my main replacement card turns up soon :(

    Hello everyone!
I can't believe I haven't looked on here in so long and now you're telling me there's a sale on!!! lol
I'm leaving work shortly, wasn't planning on going to town, but if there's a sale....Anybody knows if the sale is on in Belfast?
I have a date tonight (:j ), so can't afford to waste "make up" time! lol

Of course the sale is on in Belfast!
Most of the best stuff is gone now, I was so jealous selling everything because by the time I got on my break there was barely anything there for me :(

Althought my mum and I bought about £80 between us in the sale even after my staff discount :o

How long does delivery usually take?

Need to order birthday present (toy) to arrive by next friday. If I order tomorrow will it arrive in time ?

I have Health club 20% off voucher Eyeq capsules and thinking of buying them on 342. Will it take 20% off all of them, just one or total spend. I'm trying to work out if better off buying this brand or half price(with health club) Boots brand .

Gutted I'm not getting EA voucher from ACM.
