Obviously no guarantees but it's daft throwing in the towel without trying.
It isn't daft throwing in the towel at all.
It's a balance between whether the benefit of fighting this (i.e.£25) outweigh the effort (lots of research, document writing, letter posting etc.) and risk (that the fine will end up at £50 after a failed PATAS performance).
Sometimes one needs to make the 'commercially' right decision rather than the 'morally' right one.
I might have suggested it was worth informal reps on the ground the prices had recently been hiked, and the notification/signage did not adequately warn of this. But as the ticket almost certainly had the expiry time clearly printed on it in large characters, I would suggest it very unlikely to succeed.Optimists see a glass half full

I said it was up to them!! But as most appeals are won when going through pepipoo it's worth trying. And by the looks of things this was paid without even asking on pepipoo, so we will never know now if there was problems with the PCN , or the TRO or the NtO will we ? The last one we saw from this partnership was cancelled without it going to an adjudicator .
OP you should have asked for help on pepipoo first, it's no point coming to a forum if you don't take the advice given, I'm mystified on why you asked for help to begin with, also why spend hours looking for something when you don't know what to look for to fight this? When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
