I am looking to buy a 10" tablet but all the ones I have found seem to have a micro usb and I really wanted to use my usb sticks to transfer photos on to it.
Any suggestions?

Find one that supports 'USB on the go' - USB OTG. Then buy a cheap adaptor. I use proper memory sticks with my Samsung Galaxy S30

Thanks - I was not sure what OTG meant so I know what to look for.0 -

I wondered if that was the route I had to take. Thank you.0 -
Some of the ones that have a dedicated keyboard dock (e.g. the Asus transformer) have a USB slot on the keyboard
If it has a microSD card slot then get a USB card reader so you can put that card in the computer0 -
Here's a list of a few compatible devices (i'm sure there's much more than this) - http://www.corsair.com/en/landing/otg-compatibility-list
This is an OTG adaptor for USB: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Adapter-Samsung-Galaxy-Controller-Supported/dp/B00G4SS7DY/0 -
Microsoft Surface and Surface Pro all have full size USB ports, but they're big tablets (and full-on computers).0

Sorry, you have lost me - I have a lot of photos on USB memory sticks and I want to transfer them to a tablet ( not bought yet ) but all the ones I have looked at have got microUSB ports and not the full size one.
I am assuming that I can use a USB to microUSB adaptor to do this.0 -

.
Sorry, slightly misunderstood the situation & thought the pictures were on a computer not a memory stick and/or you wanted to give the photos to friends/family when you visited with the tablet
If you have a proper computer then you can just plug both the tablet & memory stick into that computer and move/copy the pictures between them.I am assuming that I can use a USB to microUSB adaptor to do this
Should be able to. However its possible that the tablet might not recognise the memory stick if the manufacturers bodged the interface/software0 -
I bought the Neocore N10 which has a full size usb port - but for the life of me I cannot fathom out how to transfer the photos from the memory stick to the tablet.
I can see the photos when the usb stick is in place but not when I remove it.
I have no experience of tablets and this has got me pulling my hair out in frustration.
Can anyone help, please ?
Thank you0
