Buying Wood Venetian Blinds.

After my original post last year regarding buying wood venetian blinds and the bad experience with 247blinds.co.uk I managed to find a fantastic firm to make custom wood blinds and at a very reasonable cost and thought I should share this with you. The firm is http://www.clickforblinds.com/. They are based in Poland. Being somewhat cautious after my earier experience I ordered a "sample" blind before placing a larger order for eight off-white finish wood ventian blinds. The orders was looked after all the way by Adam who was extremely pleasant and efficient to deal with. I was kept informed at each step on progress without the need to chase and the blinds were well packaged and arrived on the day specified. The products (compared to others I have seen of UK manufacture) were fantastic (I opted for the "retro" venetian wood blinds which have the headrail mechanism exposed). The finish and fit were perfect and believe me I'm fussy! The cost was also less than I had paid for the damaged blinds from 247blinds.co.uk and just to complete the story I did get my charges refunded from 247blinds.co.uk via my Credit Card Company as they refused to return my money themselves.

Just to back up what Counties_Pennies says, never ever be tempted by Hillarys Blinds. They took our deposit a month ago and the blinds are no where to be seen and after calls to their head office I find out the advisor did not even order the correct quantities and still after calls and letters they havent corrected it. They also never call us back or turn up to fit anything. We are completely stuck as they simply don't seem to care.
