Is a solicitor though0

It is a debt collector mainly. And uses sharp debt collector practices.
Personally I would ignore their fictitious deadline and post it. If you are brave enough then do the same. It shows them you won't be mucked about with.
But if it will give you sleepless nights then email it. No harm done. But know that the world will not fall down around you if you do push back on them.BSC No 248

There was no email address on there so I emailed it to the admin email on their website. I put the reference number on it and I did not put my name on it just the creditor they said the are acting on behalf of . I didn't sign it either . I will post a copy too0

I could say I'm a solicitor and demand you reply to this post within 20 minutes or I MAY send big Dave round to wee on your flowers and punch your cat. Doesn't mean I'm likely to do so.
They're not sat there with an egg timer waiting for it to ding so they can jump up and yell "A-HA! They haven't responded! I shall now unleash my army of flying monkeys upon them! FLY MY PRETTIES! DIIIIIIIIVE!!!"
ahem.
Long and short of it is it's their deadline they've set. They're a DCA from what I remember and just use the 'solicitor' tag to make them sound more official. All that will happen is you name will probably be added to their letter bombing system again. Take your time with it. Don't rush into something that is unfeasible just because they've told you to do so.0 -
The email went to the admin of the website. Who may well work for a web server company. Assume that email did not reach the people you needed it to.desidereo33 wrote: »There was no email address on there so I emailed it to the admin email on their website. So the letter is important. Send it "signed for" next week. To the DCA and not the creditor they represent.BSC No 248

Yes have to agree, emails are not the best way to deal with issues like this, with a letter you have a paper trail.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
