If you don't really watch Sky its actually a no-brainer to switch to anything. :)

YouView has been very well received and now has over 1m users. To use it you will need an aerial connection and, to view the extra channels, fibre (BT Infinity).

I am just in the process of changing over from sky to BT
I signed up through topcashback and should receive £151.50 cashback plus £100 Sainsbury's voucher.
I went for infinity 1 unlimited and tv extra with the kids bolt on for my little boy.
The order process was easy and i have received several texts and emails from bt to keep me informed.
I received my youview box and hub 5 this afternoon as planned and the openreach engineer is booked for this Friday afternoon.
    So far so good.
Just hope the rest goes smoothly and BT tv is as good as they advertise.

YouView is Freeview, with catch up services via the internet.
BT, Talk Talk Sky etc provide additional programming for an extra charge.
Note that its terrestrial so it needs an aerial and preferably an unlimited internet connection of at least 4Mbps.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
