Push it to the front of your drive. Stick a sign in the window with "Spares or repairs" and a price, see what comes your way.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Ebay cash on collection. Let them inspect it but they must pay the full asking price your not going to haggle after the final bid.

    They payup of go away.

    No worries then.

the car is so common. good luck flipping it to someone else.

You must be pretty silly if you're buying a top10 most common car with a faulty engine.

Or you could be a mechanic who will repair it cheaply and use it, or sell on?
But don't let common sense get in the way of your daft answer

I'd rather buy a common car with engine problems than a rare one.

If I were looking as a buyer, I'd consider how fast I can throw an engine in a corsa and how easy it is to get an engine for one as a major benefit.

BCA Sure Sell sells non-runners. However, you've got their auction fees to consider, but it's less hassle. Just drop it off, and once sold, a cheque will arrive in the post about a week later.
