Morning all
Nice bright day here, have the wm going and will hang it on the line today.
I have the day off so need to have a good clean through, the wisteria in front of the house is in full bloom and every time we open the front door the petals blow in, they are all over the house so time to get the hoover out.
I have a Dr's appointment at 10 this morning but other than that I don't need to go anywhere, roast pork for dinner with all the trimmings its a nice piece with apple stuffing.
DD at uni today, she has one more day after this and that's her first year done, I cant believe where the time has gone.
Hugs to Molly xx
Have good days all xx0 -
Molly I do hope you get things sorted out ok for your parents. Its so hard when they cannot care as well for themselves as they once did. But you must look after your own health and get that sorted so you have the strength to carry on.You sound like a very caring person,so let other who offer care for you as well.Life is a series of ups and downs and it always seems as though when things go wrong they really go wrong with one thing after another but I feel sure with available help you too will get through this 'down 'time <<hugs>> to you and your family
Well dear brother David has gone off home to France so the house seems quite empty at the moment .DGS Danny is taking me out for dinner tonight so I am looking forward to that.
I have a few 'pottering' things to do today ,a bit of ironing, washing three pairs of DGS's trainers out ,and I want to make some carrot and coriander soup as well to use up the remaining carrots. If I can I need to go to B&Q and see how much a new washing line will cost as my gardener is due tomorrow and he said he will put a new one up for me as my old one has really seen better days and is only hanging on by a tread
:)
So lots of small jobs to get out of the way.I have received the confirmation for DDs and mmine spa break for next month and I am looking forward to being 'pampered '
Right onwards and upwards chums time is galloping on
have a good day everyone what ever you are doing and hopefully the sun is shining down on you.

Hi everyone,
Molly, I'm pleased things are looking a bit brighter, hopefully they will continue to go in the right direction.
Judi, go and see the doctor, I know they like to check out anything like this, just in case.
Just a quick one today because I'm off to the smoke (does that date me) to see a couple of plays. It's Wolf Hall, which is on at 2.00, followed by Bring up the Bodies at 7.30. I'll probably be shattered afterwards but I loved the books and Hilary Mantel has been very involved with them so hopefully they will be good.
DD got back from Italy last night and is ok, but she said that she doesn't want to see a glass of fizzy wine for a very long time. She was very scathing about some of the journalists guzzling a bottle of wine that was clearly corked and tasted awful.
Better get on because I have to leave in a couple of hours.0 -
Morning :hello:
The sun is shining here today, much better than yesterday morning, let's hope it stops )
Molly glad to see your posting and thing's are looking better than they did yesterday
Also the support on here yesterday was lovely:D
I still have not done my ironing - that will have to be tackled tomorrow though as it is now driving me mad just sat there and I will have a load more too soon!
Tea tonight will either be jacket potatote and beans - although thinking of it I don't know if I have any jackets big enough  - may have a quick pop in to the supermarket after work and my auntie's to see if they have something cheap and quick we can have for tea. Work is rubbish rubbish today as usual, made worse by the weather being beautiful and I would rather be outside now sat infront of a computer all day.
^^ whoops that was a little moany sorry
On a brighter note the bank holiday weekend is fast approaching and I can't wait to potter around on the allotment and at home, drag my OH out on a nice walk and/or a bike ride (weather dependant) and just enjoy spending some time doing fun and relaxing things
Need to do my meal plan for this week as food shopping day tomorrow, hoping to have a small spend.
Enjoy your day and I will pop back later to catch up.Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Lovely morning so far and I have washing on the line.
Molly lovely to see that you are in a better place today, good news that the op actually worked and just needs a little fine tuning. (((hugs))) x x
Not much doing today apart from pottering, my hand still isn't fully useable and still aching inside iykwim.
I got my appointment through for the six week check yesterday, it seems I had been forgotten, good job I phoned up
DH came home and did a lovely cooked breakfast for both of us.
We are having an early dinner at 2.30pm because DH wants to go swimming after he finishes work at 8pm
Just ham and egg salad with new potatoes, but we both like that
BFN xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Just sticking my head above the exam stress and mayhem to send hugs to Molly, LW and to TTFTM.
Bye again, see you when exams are over!0 -
Didn't get a chance to post yesterday but after reading today's posts I have gone back to read Mollys. Oh Molly, you poor thing, talk about everything at once! Glad some of it has worked out ok.
Took DS2 for his college interview yesterday and was surprised when they signed him up then and there. He had asked me to come in with him (the letter said parents were welcome), and I had left it completely up to him. I was so proud of how eloquently he spoke and how mature he sounded, very proud of him and it was nice to see he can speak normally to other people and not just the teenage grunts and groans I get
Have a good day all

Mornin all, just
It's beautiful here, but rain forecast later.
Molly big hugs, and anyone else who needs one.
Moorhen, good luck getting through the exams, my youngest did his first biology paper this morning as level. He was quietly pleased it went well, fingers crossed.
I've been at the docs this morning. My B12 and iron levels are low so they've put me on another three tabs every day. That's 7 a day. I've had to buy one of those little tablet boxes with the days on. I just struggle to remember what I've taken. I think that makes me officially middle aged. He's also referred me for some more physio. Let's hope this one is a bit better:eek: on the upside he's very pleased I'm losing weight, another three pounds off last night:T I'm really enjoying this way of eating. Crust less quiche for lunch yummy.
Going to take my youngest out for his tea, we find as he gets older we don't see much of him at all and it's nice to catch up just the three of us.
Have a lovely day xxStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Well done on the last night's loss Julie.
As I am very unoccupied at work today - no change there - I have made a spreadsheet of what money I have coming in a month, what I spend per month, what I want to save per month (more than I do already) and what money will be left over. I figured if I did it this way I would be able to see better with it all there infront. Acutally it works out quite well and if I just restrain myself at times when I am shopping I will be doing better and saving an extra £150 per month (£100 of which is towards pension which I am doing my own savings account for as I don't like the 'schemes' they do).
I am sure no one is really intrested but I felt I just wanted to say:o:)Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Molly - more posi-vibes for you, mate.;)
Judi I hope Lucy Dog isn't too bruised after her fall.
Thanks, I'm as OK as I'll ever be, I reckon.:D I'm just getting later and later logging on - but my excuse is that it's far more fun throwing Daisy's frisbee for her.:o She's due to be picked up shortly, so I must pack her bag up as soon as I've posted this.Hard_Up_Hester wrote: »LW, hope you are ok.
In a way I envy you; we have completely separate accounts, but I get to do ALL the financial administration for both of us.I'm interested because I don't have to do these things. Hubby transfers £310 into my account at the end of the month which covers the household bills. My bank account is used but that's as far as it goes as to my input.
Right, I'd better go and wash some doggy dishes and pack Daisy's bag.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
