    Hi
I've just had a very similar experience - same company different town. A vulnerable adult took out a phone contract even though she doesn't know what a contract is. What happened in the case referred to in the thread? Was the contract cancelled? Did it go to court?
    Thanks

    Interesting...

How exactly is a phone shop rep expected to ID a 'vulnerable adult' anyway? If they pass the credit and ID check (residence and proof of age), then they can get a phone contract. Is the rep expected to carry out an IQ test to determine if the punter understands what exactly a contract is? If so, a lot of people posting on this board who have failed to understand how a contract works would fail that test.
The real mystery with the original post is how the OP's client passed the credit check if he already had debts or defaults with Orange?

If it gets me free phones and loans that are then written off I would be happy to be classed "vulnerable"
