Thank you for the letters, I have now found the one in the 'sticky' guide. Am I right in thinking I only send a letter when I get a postal notification?? Thanks for all your help x0

If all you've had so far is a windscreen ticket (Notice to Driver), then yes, await the postal notification (Notice to Keeper) which should be delivered to the Registered Keeper (RK) between days 29 and 56 after the date of the parking event. Trev is in the habit of making foul-ups, so he may overshoot on this.
Look, this outfit are way down the league table of able PPCs, and whilst I know you're probably stressed by it, do some background reading on Trevor Whitehouse (use the forum search engine or Google) then get to understand just what you're dealing with - it ain't much in the grand scheme of things.
Do some running on this yourself and the forum will be delighted in helping you to get 'oor Trev' to leave the room! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Hey.. Thanks for that, I've done some very interesting reading over the past couple of hours.... they sound like a splendid bunch of cowboys.... who yes regularly 'forget' to send notice to keeper, who inhabit premises above a shop and may well threaten with their own unregistered debt collection company.. I shall no longer worry and will be fully prepared. Oh and thanks to Waamo I will have great pleasure in sending the 'to the point' letter you kindly penned...I shall keep you all posted on my dealings with these half wits0

Hey, that's a fighting spirit gal, compared to your first post ! I've never had a PCN, but if was to get one, I'd want one from oor Trev.
Hold your nerve, enjoy the ride - you've got some fun ahead. You won't come to any harm with the forum alongside you.
Prepare yourself and hubby for some side-splitting moments; treasure them.
If you want some light reading before bed have a look at this thread created by forum expert Coupon-mad, where she analyses Trev's ANPR-in-a-Box that he was trying to market. It would detect shoplifters, rogue parkers, illegal immigrants and terrorists. Unfortunately for those seeking amusement, the Advertising Standards Agency made him remove his website offering this box of (his) tricks. But Coupon captures the essence of it. Do read it.
