Set up a net based mail addy, just for job searching purposes, and send all your applications from there.
That way, the JC can look, to their heart's content, if that what makes them happy, and the mail addy you are showing them is separate from your personal mailbox.
It will also provide proof of applications and any replies for their purposes.

I have 2 email addresses, one which starts looby75@.......... which I use for entering comps personal emails and general newsletters etc and a more professional one containing my name which I used for job appliction and sending CV's/cover letters when I was on JSA.I'm afraid that is entirely and completely...yes you guessed it...WRONG! The job centre have no legal right to view either, but even if they did why on earth would the be interested in all the comp, newsletter and personal emails I had received. Just because you are claiming benefits doesn't mean you lose your rights under the law.I'm not an AE I'm just an idiot who forgot to update email details, went away for a bit and then tried to come back after the old laptop died

All the JC require is a Mail addy to check job applications.
If you give them that, how on earth could they even check for others?
