Student claiming a grant

Rereading this it is confusing.
A grant is just that, a grant, you don't pay it back. Grants taper, the max is around £3000 ish, and it goes down from there. (if your income is under 25k you get the max, if I remember correctly) You get what you get, she wouldnt get £3400 and pay some back, she'd get £90. (for example me and my brother got around £200 I think....)
The student loan is all repayable, as its a loan, and again thats a similar amount of £3000, and everyone is entitled, regardless of income.0 -
I thought child benefit went to 19 in higher education?
Information about child benefit here
http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/childbenefit/keep-up-to-date/when-child-aged-16/further-education.htm
I am assuming if the course attracts loans etc it is likely at a level where child benefit is not payable but you can check against the list0
