So you are actually planning on getting on a plane wearing flip flops!
EwwwwwThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
I rest my case.0

I've seen plenty of women in there in flip flops, and a few men too. I've never seen anyone turned away from a lounge, and I've seen some people looking a right state!
I've seen many turned away and have to make a quick trip to Kurt Geiger. There's been plenty in sandals, but if its made out of foam, then you don't usually get in - I guess it depends on the staff.
Also saw someone trying to get in a couple of weeks back in Crocs...I cried laughing when they had no idea why they were refused entry!0 -
It will depend on the lounge and in part how you are getting in there (flying first class? diamond/platinum frequent flyer? Paid £15 with a 2-4-1 voucher from the Sun?)
The trousers certainly wont be a problem in most cases. The flipflops will certainly be more of a risk0 -

Summed up well II, the non status lounges are just an extension of the main departure lounge with a free bar - chavs and Sun readers welcome0 -

Some people can wear three quarter length trousers and flip flops and still exude an air of class. I expect even they would struggle with a footballist costume though.0

for some reason this did make me laugh.
my hubby calls his leather sandals flip flops...maybe the OP was referring to sandals, maybe?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

And that's the bottom line I guess. Kate Middleton in flip flops would be given entry.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
