In credit with SW Water

in Water bills
Hello!
I think I'm right in that energy companies will now refund you any credit you're in on your 'anniversary' with them. Does this apply to water companies as well.
At the last meter reading (3 months ago) I was £77 in credit with SW Water (£44 per month DD), so can I get my money back from them and get my future DDs reduced (my 'anniversary' with them is June)?
Thanks.

I suggest you ask them for it.
I had a chat with Anglian Water today after they tried increasing my DD even though I was £24 in credit.
After some discussion and clarification of tariffs, I now find that after recalculating my bill I'm actually £69 in credit. This sum should now be winging it's way to my bank account as we speak. They've also agreed that my DD will not now rise and will remain at £26 a month - I could have had it reduced to £23 but I'm happy to be just a bit in credit.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -

I will be calling them, was just fishing for a bit of a head-up as to how easy/ like pulling teeth it will be.
