I need a cheap 3 phone!
I have lost my 3 phone and have been given a replacement sim. However, i cant use the 3 sim card in my old t-mobile nokia. i can use it in my hubbys 3 phone to check texts and use up minutes. I have 5 months to go before my contract runs out and was hoping to be able to use it in another phone or buy a cheap phone to use the sim card in until my contract runs out.
Can anyone advise me?

There are a few 3 phones around the £30 mark and if you go instore you will see them. Alternatively if you have an old phone lying around that you wouldnt mind using you could have that one unlocked to all networks (usually costs around £10) at a local phone shop and use your 3 sim card in that.Offical MSE Fantasy League Member:beer:0

i think thats against the rules but anyway
3 dont sell prepay phones anymore, you have 2 options
1. get one off ebay second hand or something
2. go to a store and get one that works with a 3 sim....eg the 6300 on voda from phones4u, comes unlocked and works with 30 -
Be vary wary if you buy a 3 phone off ebay as the most recent ones they did sell as pre pay had the sims glued in and it isn't an easy job getting them out- ask the seller to confirm that there is not a glued sim and that ther is no damage to the sim holder...
Have you talked to 3 ??I would be surprised if they couldn't factor a new phone into their tarrif for you-after all one of the cheap ones they offer on the £15 tarriff should be available for rather less than £15/month if "added" to an exisiting contract one would think? Or maybe they'd scrap your current ciontract and tie you in for another 18 months from now with a new phone.0 -
Read a post somewhere saying that 3 are able to offer reconditioned handsets for around £50... best to give them a ring i thinkSLC: £13000+
Quidco: £131.24 (paid) + £0 (validated) = £131.24
Valued Opinions: £75 (paid) + £52.30 (received) + £4.50 (pending) = £131.80

I and another member offered tracey our old ones FOC, The other member lives in her area and has a better phone.
I hope that the other member re offers her phone to Tracey. It would be a shame to think that a genuine offer to help out had been deleted by an overzealous board guide. After all this is about saving money, and if we can help the OP save a few quid by beig able to take advantage of the offer of a discarded phone from someone else, then I hope that people are not going to be stopped from doing this.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0
