I'm with Vodafone atm, 900mins, unlimited text, 2GB internet data at £38.50 a month. I think its bit too much. can I cut it down? I will phone them up tomorrow.

If you've signed a contract, you can ask, but they're entitled to say no. I still believe Virgin sim only at £15 per month for unlimited everything. Reception around where we travel is excellent.
If you want proper advice, please consult a legal professional. I am not one! Thanks.

Only if your due an upgrade. I think Vodafone is one company that wont drop the price mid term.

We have 3 contracts. But money will be dropping soon so the next time we are due upgrades it will be value for money deals not i quite like that phone deals.

Yes but that's of no help if you are still in minimum term with Voda-you didn't say.

You should have been made aware of the monthly price when you signed up.

£38.50 a month must have come with an expensive phone, sell the phone and use that money to subsidise the line rental. Buy yourself a cheap phone to use your simcard in.

The tarriff your on will of included the price of an expensive handset and is a very standard tarriff as 2gb was a lot of data.

They may go one tarriff down if ur still in contract if your not they will half it

No. we weren't with Virgin for anything at all, but still got this. For me, after one year they dropped it to just £12 for unlimited everything. They wouldn't do it for my wife though.

As has been pointed out, not helpful to the OP, but hopefully helpful to other readers of the thread now or in the future.

Virgin have recently changed the allowance for their £15 VIP sim. For non-Virgin media customers that sign up now, it's unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, 2GB data. (No longer unlimited data.)

But Virgin Media customers still get unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited data

Thanks for that - it's useful to know. They were possibly finding it hard to balance the books on that deal! Still very good value mind!
