Whats this symbol on my phone?

I've had a symbol appear on my Nokia 6230i
It looks like an old telephone receiver, with possibly some kind of arrow under it.

I've had the phone ages and never seen it before.
I've no messages in voicemail and no alarms or anything set.
It disappears when I use the phone, it just seems to appear when phone is left for a while.
Can anyone help please.

Doesn't the manual have a list of all possible symbols?

sounds like the symbol that notifies you of an 'active call divert', for example if you have an active divert to voicemail/another number other than when you are unavailable.

I don't have a manual and I've just checked the divert thing and it's not that either.

Yes, just go into the missed calls and out again and should go
