If you've already got 2 fairly practical cars and this is just a weekend toy... then why does the dog need to fit?
The dog means you're probably going to struggle to find a softtop and I'm not sure you'd want the roof down with a dog in the back either.0 -

thanks for all the advice, looking at a merc clk convertable as there not to popular so get them reasonable priced and have 4 seats for mutty
