Ah! Well thank you very much! I cut each sausage in four lengthways to make the legs, a dollop of mash for the body with two pea eyes. All sitting on some spaghetti! My two boys loved them. The only complaint was from my husband who asked why he had sausages and mash instead of spiders! They never grow up!!! Lol!

Reporting in with my spends for yesterday, £14.10 spent.
I need just an onion, some bacon and some mushys tomorrow, and that's me done for the month.
£1.65 over budget for the month, plus whatever it comes to tomorrow. Quite pleased with myself :) it's over, but only by a tiny bit.

    Ewwwww!!

£10.80 on a few offers at tesco yesterday. Going to aldi today to get a few bits for our camping weekend. We are going to a running event and the weather forecast is torrential rain! Joy!

Does anyone know if the aldi voucher is in the paper today?

Declaring for June at £5 over, but still down on total for year and happy at that. Increase has been due to buying for Strawberries, I am on slimming world. Thankfully now have loads home grown and the raspberries think they are triffids so will save a bit there. also home grown salads and tomatoes.

I think its going to be a mega year for blackberry picking, never seen so many round here.

Looking forward to an easy July as I spent £85 last year cant think what pushed it so high but probably an offer or mega reduced stock up.

  • Did a final count for June and came in at £360 from a £300 budget. Not great, but onward for July!

I made a lovely soup yesterday out of roasted red pepper and butternut squash, lentils, onions, carrots and celery. I blended it until smooth and the roasted of the red pepper and squash gave it a really nice taste. There was plenty left so I will have it for tea tonight with a cheese sandwich.

Can't go to shops until ?Monday now as have almost no cash and don't get paid until Monday!

See you all on the July thread!

Spent €28.89 today, bringing monthly total to€152.63.....dont think that I need to spend any more this month, but might top up on sausages, frozen pizzas, chicken breasts as DD2 arrives on July 23rd and that is about all her 2 ladies will eat......have had several words with her on the subject but she is a very fussy eater herself and refuses to force them to eat anything they dont want to.

There is a voucher for aldi in the mirror. £5 off a £45 spend. There is also money off vouchers for two loaves of bread (50p each), malt load, breaded fish, cream doughnuts (naughty!), cheese topped rolls, summer fruits chilled juice, salad dressings. Can't remember any others!

I went shopping today for our weekend away. Spent £43 (after the vouchers). But also stocked up on a months supply of cereal, tins of toms etc. so not just shopping for the weekend. I will get mum to nip and get me some fruit on Monday as I am at work all day, which should do me until next Thursday when I will use my other vouchers up! Doing quite well this month. The fruit will be part of this month's budget and next weeks shop at aldi will be in my July budget!
