7/7 and this week (Friday - Friday) yippee!!!

Well done, nannygladys! I've been watching with baited breath, to see if you would make it!!

I've had a fairly unsuccessful June in terms of adding up and posting. I know I'm doing ok, but because I've neglected to add to my signature, I'm not sure of the exact amount. I have, however, made sure I haven't been shopping unless it's my day, so if we've run out of something, it's tough until the next weekend.

    Probably on £70ish.

Well done nannygladys that's fab and very inspiring! ^_^

Another spend today, this time £11.45, picked up some YS chicken and prawns to make Jambalaya this weekend. Happy Chicken eggs were on offer 50% extra free, I needed eggs so grabbed those and also got milk for next 3/4 days.

Well off to bed now, night all!

Thanks a million for the heads-up. You do start to feel that it's all a scam and us - the shoppers - are at the sharp end of all the SMs trying to get us in a head-lock

I'm so glad that I am fit, able and can make the time to shop around a bit - though not always easy with work. I don't know how we would manage otherwise.

Had another NSD today but think I'll have to shop tomorrow :(

Hope you all have a fantastic Friday

If you do an on-line shop and select V@lue/Sm@artprice/B@sics products. If they aren't available when they pick your order they usually replace with a 'similar' product but only charge you the original price!

I know this doesn't always happen and it depends on who is picking and packing your shopping, but I've had a$da sm@rtprice crisps replaced with W@lkers before!

It might be worth doing an on-line shop to try and stock up on items. Te$co offer £1 delivery slots too!

Gees, even when I am trying I still seem to be failing! I spent £130.53 between the tesco shop and farm shop this week. The only "naughty" foods were a pack of 8 ice lollys for £1 and discounted Sensations Popcorn for the OH which was 30p.

I split the shop between the 2 stores to get the cheapest items I could in the farm shop before hitting the supermarket. I stocked up on fruit, veg, meat and fish for OH and DD, quorn for me, bread, some yoghurts and cheese for lunches and only 7 pre packed can items (beans soup and a tub of gravy powder). Oh and a 9 pack of loo roll.

Genuinely praying this shop lasts us a good 9/10 days as otherwise I have no idea where I have gone wrong. I have had 2 no spend days by sticking to our meal plans although need to buy the dog some denta sticks today or she won't be my friend in the morning doh :o
