I've spotted some Senseo style coffee pads in my local 99p shop. I can't remember the brand but they are packs of 16's. I am well stocked up for coffee at the moment so haven't tried them.

I'd be interested to know if anyone else has tried them and their verdict.

Definitely invest in a coffee duck if you haven't already. I now even have a little coffee grinder to grind down standard ground coffee to a finer espresso grade powder which works well.

Sorry for bumping this thread but I have just received, through Interlink, my Senseo coffee pad order I placed only yesterday through Direct Coffee Pods. I needed Senseo branded pads as some of the bags are for a Mother's Day hamper gift.

I am impressed with the fast delivery and tracking so have to post.

    I ordered 6 x 36 pad packs for £26.94 total + PP which I didn't think was too bad.

Tesco had the Senseo pads at 2 packs for £5 last week so I got some to try. I got one Dark Roast and one Medium. With the Lidl pads I only ever needed to use one pad to get a very tasty mug of coffee but I find with the Senseo ones I need to use two pads to get a decent mug, therefore buying in bulk from Amazon wouldn't work out to be very cheap for me I don't think. Glad I tried before I ordered some.

Was the discount applied due to.the default setting beimg subscribe and save, which implements 5% off. Too early for me to be trying to figure that out!
