Anyone having trouble getting the Lidl pods lately? My local Lidl closed a year or so back so my husband gets them from the one near his work, he's gone to stock up today but he's just called to say they're totally out of stock with no space on the shelf for them.

We use Costco they stock dulce gusto ones that we use and it's the cheapest we have every found, come in bigger boxes.

Not sure what other ones they stock, I haven't seen bookers stock them, Costco is good for some stuff but we still use sainsburys for some things.

We always spend a fortune in Costco compared to sainsburys the quality of the meat is great and good if you want to pack your freezer with quality food
  • Yep my Lidl has stopped them too. Now sell the capsules not the pods. Thats one of the reasons i purchased the Senseo. Gutted!!
Thinking of buying coffee filters in the duck with normal coffee inside.
I've looked on Amazon too ... was reluctant to buy them as they were expensive.
    No Costco nearby unfortunately :(.

I've bought a Coffee Duck, it's a bit messier but works well and the coffee brews nicely. If you do get one though, as others have said, make sure you get the right one for your machine. My model (7825) wasn't listed on all of the listings I found. I got mine from Ebay from a seller who shipped to my local Argos - it was here within 24 hours of purchasing it so I didn't have coffee withdrawals.

Deanos, thanks for the tip about Amazon, I'm a bit reluctant to buy in bulk without trying first though in case it's not to my taste.
