Where s the cheapest place to get these please? Someone on here a while ago said that Lidl's are compatible, but my Lidl doesn't do them at all!

But, be aware, there are two sizes of coffee duck. The one I ordered a couple of years ago from Amazon was too big for my machine so a total waste of £10!. I suppose I could have returned it but never got round to it. If you get the right size then, yes, they are a good idea and would save you lots of money.

I've got the Coffee Duck for my machine and use it a lot. I find putting the ground coffee through a coffee grinder to make the grains slightly finer works best though.

Travelling Abuela is right about getting the correct size. I have the Senseo HD7814 machine and bought the Coffee Duck for Senseo Classic HD7810-HD7812 which turned out to be the right one. My model number wasn't listed which made it very confusing.

There are cheaper places online for coffee pads but the P&P doesn't always make it worth while unless ordering in bulk.

I do recommend Morning Americano pads 20 mug-size (or 40 cups) if you like your black coffee. These are my current favourite! Morrisons have them for £3.99 a pack, possibly Tesco too.

    Thanks all.

Had never heard of a coffee duck, so that sounds like a plan for the future i can consider. My machine is still boxed and unused at the moment as i am waiting to move. Hopefully can get it out and try it in the new place

FLA 27 i do like black coffee; but our Morrisons is very restricted as to what they sell on that aisle; and as they are so nearby don't deliver yet. Will keep my eyes peeled though.

Roaming around on Amazon I came across these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Melitta-Permanent-Padfilter-Senseo-coffee/dp/9792491325/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1400738152&sr=8-5&keywords=senseo+pods. At £3 (+£1.99 p & p) they are cheaper than the ducks but, here again, it's important to check your model number for compatibility.

I did manage to get some in the end. I hadn't been looking at the packaging properly in Lidl. I've now tried Brazilian, Kenyan and Nigerian ( i think) - Brazilian is my favourite.

    Thanks for the tips Browntoa
