Will you stop selling on eBay?

Do you think it'll get to the point where you stop selling on eBay?
I've been selling intermittently for many years but never had as much trouble as I have the last couple of months! I'm also running out of items that I feel are worth selling so I'm wondering whether to just call it quits - seems like the hassle just isn't worth the reward any more.

I stopped selling a few months ago after a particularly agressive and abusive buyer , i send my unwanted items to the local charity shop now.
Ebay in general is going down hill the last two items ive bought have been mis described. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I suppose i will at some point stop selling, I get bored of everything pretty quickly. In fact I am surprised I am still on eBay, but for me running a small business it is fairly easy money so I am loath to give up.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I am only an intermittent seller (clothes) but I don't think I will bother any more as it just seems so much aggro now."'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life

I feel the same - I only sell the odd thing we have no use for any more, never been a buy-to-sell type, but it just seems so much hassle. And the niggling feeling that it's going to come back and bite you on the bum.
I have one going on now that I'm awaiting collection for, I had tried local selling pages but people seem to want something for nothing. Or they want you to store it for them until they can be bothered to get the cash together.
I. Just. Can't. Be. Arrised. Anymore.

I haven't sold much for the past couple of years, my main issue being the increasing cost of postage.
I used to enjoy Ebay - it seemed like a happy online carboot sale. I even made friends with people I regularly purchased from or regularly sold to.
I will continue to sell on there, but the fun has largely gone out it.'Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.' George Carlin0 -
Not anytime soon. I'm just a private seller clearing out odds & ends (maily as I refresh my wardrobe), and like the ability to get something for my stuff.
Although various things have squeezed the selling potential on ebay, especially rising post prices.
Gone are the days of the 99p bargains too.0 -
Judging from the auctions I had ending today my customers think I already have!
Thank goodness for Amazon..0 -
I used to really enjoy my eBaying, but it's no fun anymore, and the upward trend in fees, especially the FVF on postage has made it much more expensive.
I'm just thankful that I've done most of my decluttering.
I will still sell when I have things that I don't need anymore, but I won't be doing as much as I used to, that's for sure.Early retired - 18th December 2014

I haven't sold much on ebay this past year. I need to declutter though, so with my brother we're thinking of going to an actual car boot sale.
I only usually sell items that are higher in price, selling something for 99p isn't worth the hassle to me, you get about 20p profit, if that!0
