Do I need to take her to the vet? I am unsure.
She isn't off her food, seems perfectly normal in regards to behaviour and appetite. Nothing has changed but she has ben sneezing a lot more than normal for the last week or so.

sounds like cat flu.0

According to this link http://www.bluecross.org.uk/1959-2765/cat-flu.html I don't think it sounds like cat flu, as she has no other symptoms?0

Some cats sneeze more if there are environmental changes. My cats sneeze when the evenings are colder (had to put the heating on for them last night). My friend's cat has hayfever!!
Could be cat flu, but unlikely unless there are other symptoms as well, especially if she's still bouncing around, eating, drinking and pooing okay. I assume she's immunised (not that it's total prevention, but it helps!)? And even if it is a bit of cat flu, I'm not sure a vet would treat for 'just' sneezes. ?
I would call the vet and just ask a vet nurse over the phone for advice without having to pay to take her in.Always worth checking. And if she goes downhill, is floppy or unhappy, has weepy eyes or a temperature (check her ears to see if they're hot), then definitely get her to the vet.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
Thanks Kiki, yes she is still running around and chasing anything that moves, as per normal
Still full of energy and behaving just as madly as she normally does
My first thought was cat flu, but after googling it several times I don't believe it to be the case.
I'll pop into the vet tomorrow and ask them. I didn't know that cats can get hayfever! yes, she has had all of her jabs0 -
Has anything in the environment changed? I'm thinking particularly of anything that might tickle her nose, like a new carpet/rug or a bout of spring-cleaning. Either of those tickles my nose!0

One of my kitties wa sneezing a lot and had a slight discharge from one of her eyes. The vet diagnosed cat flu, gave her an antibiotic injection (she's a devil to get tablets into and shed have been on them for a week) and also some drops for both her eyes. She is much better now, she was ill for about a week yet didn't lose her appetite during that time. There were a few days when it was evident she had aches and pains, just like we get when we have human flu.
Apparently cat flu in kittens is life-threatening, or can lead to blindness, even loss of an eye. In an adult cat it is much less dangerous as their systems are (usually) well developed and they recover well.0 -
She could have an allergy to something in your home.
Are her eyes watering?
Discharge from the nose?
If she starts coughing at all, straight to the vet(could be asthma).
If either then take her to the vet.
Otherwise keep an eye on her and if the sneezing continues just take her for a quick check up.0 -
One of our moggies is sneezing a lot too at the moment but it's hayfever/allergies rather than anything more sinister. It's very common this time of year but it can also lead to an upper respiratory infection that can leave them open to other nasties such as cat flu.
Keep an eye on her and if in doubt get to the vet.
Having nursed a cat through severe flu last year I'd say you know when it's something more than a sneezy day but if in doubt get her checked."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
She could have something stuck up her nose. My cat had the sneezing/eye running thing for months, and no amount of antibiotics would help. After swabs and a nasal flush, it magically cleared up, and nothing was found on the cultures.0

Thanks everyone
No runny nose or eyes, no cough either.
I am going to pop along to the vet on Monday though, just to be on the safe side.0
