but presumably this time Easyjet were the cheapest for your dates and destination etc?
As for saving a fiver, that is extremely important to me as I was brought up in times of ' watch your pennies & the pounds will watch themselves'.
If I had been seen to throw away change into a waste bin when I was at school I would have been sent away for psychiatric reports.
After all, this is a money saving forum- not a throw away a fiver forum.:)
so - what if Easyjet is the cheapest carrier for your dates and destination etc in future and you've decided to boycott them over your fiver experience this week? Won't you then be "throwing away" money because you won't be booking the cheapest airfare?0 -

Well, I always have a little leeway on my flight dates. Therefore if Easyjet should ever come up again which I doubt, then I shall change the flight date by a couple of days to avoid flying with them.:rotfl:
I love your username ' ballet shoes ' BTW0 -

Perhaps you should have considered your onward transportation options from Luton and organised something more flexible? The cheapest travel options often have very little flexibility. As a poster above said, on the train network an advance ticket is for the exact train only. At least easybus allow an hour leeway.
Good luck with tailoring all your future travel plans around avoiding one of the largest airlines in Europe.
Also, when you book national express do not use their cheapest "FunFare" tickets. These you must travel on the service you book. No hour leeway (which you get with easybus)
