    Hi all.

Just to let everybody know, I have accepted an offer for £24K (£7K above my previous salary) with another company only 30-minutes drive away.. Seems there may just be a happy ending after all :)

Good on you, remember to offer work on freelance (if your new company allow it)

    Yay! Well done!

Have you quit your job now? What did your boss say?

I got turned down for pay rises, despite being paid £9k less than my male counterparts. It was only when I quit that they offered me the pay rise, but I left anyway to change career. They they then had to pay two people full time to do the work that I managed three days a week!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Just got my letter of employment / contract this evening. I will be handing in my notice tomorrow. If he was having a "standoff" all this time then it's his own fault. I won't be staying there regardless of whether he offers a pay rise :)
