Hi all.
Just to let everybody know, I have accepted an offer for £24K (£7K above my previous salary) with another company only 30-minutes drive away.. Seems there may just be a happy ending after all

Yay! Well done!
Have you quit your job now? What did your boss say?
I got turned down for pay rises, despite being paid £9k less than my male counterparts. It was only when I quit that they offered me the pay rise, but I left anyway to change career. They they then had to pay two people full time to do the work that I managed three days a week!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Just got my letter of employment / contract this evening. I will be handing in my notice tomorrow. If he was having a "standoff" all this time then it's his own fault. I won't be staying there regardless of whether he offers a pay rise
