Dixons Carphone
So...a merger is on the cards then.....
Less competition on the high street, but apparently they won't be making any redundancies....(Wonder what will happen to the P4U staff in the Dixons stores?)
I thought that CPW were still in bed with BestBuy (even though that UK venture failed spectacularly)
Personally, I've saved cash plenty of times buying tech from CPW.
Can't really see where this benefits UK consumers, hopefully our wonderful regulatory bodies will see this and put a block on it, won't be holding my breath though!

There has been no competition in the retail consumer electronics sector for a very long time. The only change i see is that you are now going to get some spotty idiot giving crap advise on your mobile while desperately trying to sell you an expensive and ultimately worthless extended guarantee.
