Worth Haggling on LPG prices

I have bought a cottage a few year back that came with an underground LPG tank. I assumed that as it was owned by Calor that I was stuck with using them to supply the LPG.
This year I decided to see if they would reduce my pence per litre (ppl) cost, currently at 56.4ppl. Just simply calling and asking if that was the best rate and that I intended to shop around before placing my next order, they reduced my rate to 50ppl, which i thought was pretty good.
I found a switching advice service online (in this case LPG Solutions) and they took my info and said they would call around for me. As I use less than a tank per year, I didnt expect to get better than what I had been offered BUT they guy came back and said that Calor had ammended their offer to 45ppl (fixed for 6 months)!! I'm pretty happy with that!!
So it IS worth shopping around for a cheaper rate on your LPG.
