    We're also going camping for the first time tomorrow :)

    In addition to your list we've also got:

    * A first aid kit
    * Wet wipes
    * Loo roll
    * Sun lotion (I'm being very optimistic)
    * Flip flops for the showers (or am I being overly paranoid?)
    * Washing up liquid, sponge and tea towel
    * Matches and lighter (you never know)
    * Spare batteries for torch
    * Camera

    Also dont forget things like salt, pepper, ketchup, powdered milk or fresh milk if you have means for keeping it cool.

    Don't forget a camping cooker or burner to make a hot drink. A bottle opener for a bottle of wine to drink whilst you watch the sun set. (Hopefully!) Have a great time.

    I would take a plastic hammer rather than rubber they always seem to just bounce for me!

    We used to use plastic tote boxes to keep the cooking things in under the fly sheet then if it was wet everything was kept dry. We only had a two man tent so space inside was at a premium..
