I have been trying this for a day now and am getting nowehere 
I have downloaded a couple of programs but am having no joy.
Apparently, my laptop has a Sony DVD RW.
Any help much appreciated.

I had a 3D baby scan yesterday so they gave me a DVD of the footage taken. It is from a DVD-R disc.0 -
Try this program, it's free and I have found it easy to use.

OK its a DVDr you dont need anything else other than some software that allows the copying of cd's or DVD's like nero or alcohol 120%
put the disk in the drive, select the copy dvd wizard and follow the instructions, copying this type of dvd is easy its only comercially produced dvd's that have a few different processes like using dvd shrink.0 -
