E2Save 12 month contract
Hello everyone, i am new on here, and i just wanted some opinion on this deal:
i am currently with the CPW on o2 and get 100 free sms a month and 1000 off peak minutes to other o2 phones and landlines. line rental at £17 a month, but this is usually higher when VAT is added etc. it wa a cashback deal, so i got £80 back every four months. It has turned out that i am still paying more on top every month.
I am now looking for a deal with more texts in particular and have found a deal on e2save which gives you:
free LG choc phone
400 x network mins
500 sms
£35 a month for 12 months, with 11 months cashback. works out at 2.72 a mnth.
Much better than what o2 have offered:
exact same deal, but with samsung u600
£35 a month for 12 months, but only £150 cashback
I'm not after a flashy phone at all, i only want it to be able to phone and text.
Good deal?

Hi. I have also been looking at this deal. Mobile Junkie - any chance you could let me know any info you have on this as well? I can see its clearance but haven't found their T&C for this yet. I really don't want to get it wrong!
Thanks for your help.0 -
when i went to cancel with o2, they gave me a better deal, so i have stayed with them. I now get 600 xnet minutes and 500 texts for £40 a month, but withtotal cashback of £480, which means it is essentially free., with cashback cheques in months 4, 8 and 12. No free phone, but am happy with current handset.
am very pleased.:D0 -

Hi there,
I'm on my 4th cashback with phonebox - 3 went through albeit being really slow and I'm currently waiting for my 4th one. My contract runs out on August 17th and I would like to sign up to a similar deal again. I have been doing a lot of research and are wondering which company to go with. I must say that the more I read the more insecure I get!
I'm not too fussy about the handset but I suppose I'm looking for a company that is realiable as long as I do my part of the contract. I was looking at phonebox again but also at e2save (because of this thread) and mobileshop. Any advice highly appreciated!
Thanks a lot0 -
weimaranermerlin avoid mobileshop at all costs! If you do a search you will find threads showing you that virtually nobody trusts them anymore.0

Can O2 give you cashbacks directly then? Where did you get your contract Katy? I had always thought that cashbacks were paid(partly or wholly) to customers indirectly via the retailer where the contract was purchased.when i went to cancel with o2, they gave me a better deal, so i have stayed with them.
